Under the DEPOT name, we currently operate over 530 stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We have thus been able to establish ourselves as a provider of ideas for innovative furnishing and a supplier of home accessories, furniture, gifts and decorative items. We focus on a seasonally changing range of high-quality products that guarantee trendy, modern design with a feel-good factor. And on a wide range of innovative decoration ideas, which can be realized at customer-friendly calculated prices. DEPOT stores are now located in all major cities in Germany, and in addition we also offer our products through cooperations in various department and furniture stores. Rooms by DEPOT

The sales concept for the retail large area - directly from the decoration specialist DEPOT

With the "Rooms by DEPOT" brand, Gries Deco Company is creating a shop-in-shop concept specially designed for large-scale spaces. Rooms by DEPOT is a modular system that gives retail customers the opportunity to integrate an emotional, seasonal decor world into their homes. Thanks to the modular system, the sales area can be varied from 95sqm to 165sqm. A shopfitting system developed for Rooms and an in-house decoration team on site, provide the best possible support and a uniform overall appearance. Retail customers can thus put together individual decoration worlds on the basis of the available space and offer the consumer a competent concept in the segment. The range includes not only a basic assortment as well as the various rapidly changing seasonal collections with lots of decorating tips and creative ideas.

To ensure a uniform "look & feel", retailers are given weekly instructions in words and pictures and are supported in the presentation of their goods. They can choose between different service modules and thus integrate their employees in the area or commission the complete management of the area as a full service. The core competence of the decoration is always taken over by GDC. Rooms by DEPOT defines the product presentation as well as the product selection of the individual modules, takes care of the rotation of the changing assortments and the complete merchandise management. Throughout the year, more than 10,000 different articles are thus arranged in 40 themes and 80 updates and constantly reinvented. In addition to existing cooperations with Toom, Real, Kaufland, Bünting and Globus, Gries Deco Company is continuing on its expansion course with Rooms by DEPOT: currently, there are already 125 spaces, with further shop-in-shops scheduled to open in 2020.
